INN DAYS 2017 – Growing the Business of Nonprofit News

Join us for INN DAYS 2017 - Two days of intensive business training for news organizations and entrepreneurial journalists who want to achieve growth and increase their impact.

Keynote Presenter: Marina Walker Guevara, ICIJ

Guevara co-managed the Panama Papers investigation, one of the biggest leaks in journalistic history, involving more than 370 reporters in 76 countries. Hear how ICIJ put together the news collaboration that earned a Pulitzer Prize and continues to change global finance and politics, and what is next for ICIJ’s reporting in the Americas and beyond.

INN conference sessions are free for INN members in good standing, thanks to generous support from the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation and Knight Foundation. You can register for one or both days.

This year INN will provide lunch each day. To reserve your meal and a seat for any of the hands-on training workshops, members must register by June 2, 2017. Any remaining seats after that date will be offered to non-members for $85 per day, coffee and lunch included. INN Days Conference and Lunch Registration

Travel Help (Sorry, all travel funds have been awarded)

INN has funding to reimburse some travel costs for members who apply and show need. INN will reimburse members up to $300 for one day or up to $600 for both INN DAYS, Wednesday, June 21 and Thursday, June 22.

Reimbursements will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to INN members:

• in good standing (current on membership dues)


• that are actively publishing


• that submit the reimbursement request and expenses within 90 days of the conference

We can cover up to one full reimbursement per organization.

INN members who want to attend the IRE Conference must register IRE Conference Registration ($285 early bird price until June 2). IRE registration is not required for members who want to attend only INN DAYS training sessions.
