INN members re-elected four sitting candidates of the INN Board of Directors.
Laura Frank of I-News Network, Robert "Rosey" Rosenthal of the Center for Investigative Journalism, the St. Louis Beacon's Margaret Wolf Freivogel and Chuck Lewis of the Investigative Reporting Workshop all return to their organizational oversight and support roles on the INN Board.
Bill Buzenberg of the Center for Public Integrity has left the board to make room for the future appointment of additional public members as per the INN bylaws. His former seat remains vacant at this time.
The results were announced by INN Board Chair Brant Houston, the Knight Chair in Investigative and Enterprise Reporting at the University of Illinois.
"We are pleased to have held our first election and want to thank all the members who voted," Houston said. "This continues our evolution as a vital and growing network in nonprofit journalism."
