To expand best practices in fundraising across the news sector, INN is sponsoring the creation of an association for fundraising professionals working in the nonprofit news field.

Benefits for membership in this association will include access to CFRE- accredited courses, mentoring opportunities and relationship-building across the nonprofit news sector. This association will address the specific challenges of raising funds for news while exploring ethics and offering training courses on industry best practices.
NEXT STEPS
INN will help implement and launch the association in 2021. To begin this process, INN is assembling an advisory group of INN members to oversee the establishment of the association’s structure.
