Most donors that come through INN are interested in the field but don’t have a relationship with a specific news outlet. Having a donor profile on News for Good helps them donate to you then and there.

Startups and other members are welcome to use these profiles as their main donation page until they get their own pages up, but we’d still encourage you to build out a great donor funnel on your own site. Nothing substitutes for getting people directly to your site for a direct relationship -- this is the add-on equivalent of catching some attention from drive-by traffic.

Why not use NewsMatch year-around? NewsMatch.org will stay online, but NewsMatch is gaining recognition as a specific campaign and we believe it’s most powerful when kept distinct as an end of year campaign brand.

You’ll receive donor name and email for all donations you receive through News for Good. (INN may very rarely email News for Good donors as well.)
