St. Louis Public Radio and the St. Louis Beacon merged in 2013 to form one multi-media news organization dedicated to covering news that matters for St. Louisans. We report with depth and context on significant regional issues and developments, concentrating especially on politics, race, education, economic innovation, science, health and the arts. Our expanded newsroom reaches people through several tools, including radio, our website, social media and events. With this approach, we aim to reinvigorate local news coverage and to follow a business model that sustains our work.
