AWSM will hold its 2019 summer conference from June 13-16 at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina along the scenic downtown waterfront.

All members who sign up during the early registration period – which runs March 1-15 – will be offered a reduced registration rate of $300. After March 15, general registration prices are in effect: $650 for nonmembers, $400 for professional members and $325 for student members. Cancellations are subject to a $25 fee. No refunds will be processed after May 1. #AWSM2019 registration will close May 10 or when the event has reached capacity. The past two conferences held in Florida were sellouts.

The Marriott Waterside is located across the street from Amalie Arena – home to the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning – and two miles from Ybor City, accessible from a trolley stop steps from the hotel. The Florida Aquarium and Tampa Museum of Art also are less than a mile away. Conference attendees will be offered an initial rate of $169/night for singles/doubles, which includes complimentary internet. The room rate is good three days before and after the conference, based on availability. Attendees with vehicles also are eligible for discounted overnight parking.

The most convenient airport is Tampa International Airport (TPA) – which is located nine miles from the hotel. The Orlando airport (MCO) is 85 miles from the hotel. Attendees should plan to depart anytime June 16 – as the conference’s closing event will be the evening of June 15.
