Seven leaders join LEAP initiative to advance strategy and scale for nonprofit newsrooms

The participants for the Fall 2017 session are:

The LEAP Initiative is a leadership program designed to help senior managers of well-established nonprofit news organizations seeking to update or change strategy or move to the next level of growth. LEAP is short for Lead, Execute, Accelerate, Pivot, four moves that help in leading growth in fast-changing environments.

The cohort of seven member executives  will work together to address their strategic challenges with support and guidance from subject matter experts and business coaches.

LEAP is designed to help them make these strategic shifts, as well as further strengthen and support leading nonprofit news executives in strategic planning and decision-making.

The first training sessions will be held in Philadelphia on Oct. 2-3 in conjunction with INN @ Temple: Business Intensive for Nonprofit News. A second cohort will form in 2018.

LEAP is funded by a generous donation from The Democracy Fund and the Business Intensive by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
